The History section covers the history of Mark’s musical education, teaching qualifications, and his professional performance and recording career.
Next, the Discography page details all of the albums Mark has recorded, including song samples and some free full-length tracks that you can download in 320 KB AAC/m4a or 192 KB mp3. You can also get liner note information and track descriptions from the CDs there.
Ensembles covers Mark’s production company; Pacific Winds Musical Productions, which oversees the various combinations of jazz musicians he organizes for live performances at both public and private engagements in the San Francisco Bay area.
The Teaching Studio section covers both institutional instruction and private lessons for students that want to learn to play a clarinet or saxophone. Current and potential students, and their parents, are strongly encouraged to read the Lesson Policy page for clarity and smoothness for everyone. Also, there are recommended Books and Essential CDs that will enhance the learning process.
Music Roots is a new section that will give some insight regarding the musical influences that shaped Mr. Sowlakis’ performances and compositions.
